Eligibility for Admission

Persons determined to be eligible for facility admission in accordance with the Long-Term Care Insurance Act and related regulations

  • Persons aged 65 or older, and persons under 65 with geriatric diseases, who have been assessed and assigned a facility-based long-term care grade by the relevant city, county, or district long-term care assessment committee
  • Adult daycare centers are for individuals who have been assigned a grade eligible for home-based care benefits

However, support provided for soldiers and police officials wounded in action or on active duty, individuals wounded in the April 19 Revolution, public officials wounded on duty, and special contributors wounded on active duty with disability Grade 1, as well as living patriots and spouses of patriots, regardless of living standard (80% support for those with disability Grade 1 and living patriots, 60% support for spouses of patriots).

Individuals whose standard of living meet the criteria set by the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs: Persons who meet the support criteria under Article 10 of the Standards for Support Based on Living Conditions (Notification of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs).

Scope of bereaved family members: The registered spouse or parents in the order of priority (in the case of parents, Article 5 of the Act on the Honorable Treatment and Support of Persons of Distinguished Service to the State shall apply mutatis mutandis), excluding children.

Adult Daycare Centers

  • Operating Hours: 9 AM–5 PM (adjustable)
  • Admission Capacity: 28 persons (no distinction between persons of distinguished service to the state, their bereaved family members, or the general public)
  • Fees: The benefit portion is subject to a reduction based on the officially announced rates, while non-covered items such as meal and snack costs are paid by the individual
  • Other admission qualifications, admission priority, admission procedures, and the recruitment and selection of residents are determined in accordance with the facility’s internal operating regulations.
