- VHS welfare towns, senior-exclusive residential facilities based on the concept of a “Silver Town,” for elderly persons of distinguished service to the state and their bereaved families who lack housing

VHS Nursing Homes
- Eligibility for Admission
- Persons determined to be eligible for facility admission in accordance with the Long-Term Care Insurance Act and related regulations
- Persons aged 65 or older, and persons under 65 with geriatric diseases, who have been assessed for facility admission and assigned a long-term care grade by the Long-Term Care Assessment Committee of the National Health Insurance Service branch offices
- Adult daycare centers are for individuals who have been assigned a grade eligible for home-based care benefits
VHS Suwon Nursing Home

- Eligible Residents: Veterans aged 65 or older without housing, who are mobile, and their bereaved families
- Facility Status
- Residential Facilities: 7 apartment buildings, 452 units
- Ancillary Facilities: Dining hall, bathhouse, supermarket, health consultation room, audio-visual education room, hobby room, laundry room, fitness room, etc.
Low-cost meal service (lunch and dinner) supported by the Lottery Fund
VHS Recreation Center
- Location: 553-17 Suryongbonghwang-gil, Jungangtap-myeon, Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, Republic of Korea
- Facilities: 60 condo-style accommodation rooms (capacity for 200 persons) and ancillary facilities
- Usage Priority: Widows first, followed by persons of distinguished service to the state and their bereaved families, and then the general public
