Environmental Management Policy of the Korea Veterans Health Service
The Korea Veterans Health Service declares the following Environmental Management Policy to position itself as a leading institution in environmental management, placing environmental conservation and energy saving at the core of its management values.
- Wewill actively strive to use resources and energy efficiently in all management activities to achieve low-carbon, green growth.
- Wewill continuously strive to achieve a low-carbon society and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in response to climate change.
- Wewill comply with domestic environmental laws and guidelines, and establish and manage strict voluntary standards to minimize environmental impact.
- Wewill actively strive to minimize waste generation and promote reduction, reuse, and recycling to operate as a resource-circulating organization.
- Wewill ensure transparency by disclosing all environmental management activities to stakeholders and build social trust through cooperation with the local community.
- Ourenvironmental management system will be continuously improved through consultation and participation between labor and management.
- The Presidentwill announce the Environmental Management Policy to ensure that all employees recognize that the Korea Veterans Health Service’s top priority is the preservation of life and safety.
